Builds on what we saw in the movie
Love Ron Howard's A13 and this is a perfect follow up documentary. Obviously the limitations of a feature film mean that information has to be passed over but this reveals the full process the astronauts and mission control took to get the crew home. Fascinating and well executed.
Fascinating, but nothing new
We all know the well-worn story of Apollo 13. Despite having heard it a million times before, it's still riveting and heart-stoppingly tense. However, this film doesn't add anything new to the party and just runs through the same-old, same-old. It's nicely done, but we've been here before.
