Not Bad for a horror flick
I am not a big fan of horror movies not since the first Nightmare on elm street. the characters are fun and grow on you some you are glad to see get killed others not so much but over all with the budget I hear they had it turned out to be a fun trip back to the 80's type horror film. As an independent film could there be better things done of course but the story was compelling the effects were decent the acting was good by the main characters I will watch this again. filming in Ohio can be a challenge because of the lack of talent pool but they did good with who they had I look for the Director to do better films if he had a better budget.
Have a Blast with Bone Cave
As an avid fan of classic and indie horror flicks, I can truly appreciate Bone Cave in all it's glory. It contains all the greatest elements from any cheesy horror film on the market ... only done better. It has Blood, Screams, more Blood, plot twists, and One liners galore. Only thing that keeps this from being a perfect campy horror film is the problem of over ambition and some poorly executed digital special effects, Otherwise the plot, character development, camera work, lighting, and sound track is right on. Kudos to Matthew Brooks for having high ambitions and executing a solid horror film on a meager budget. Bone cave will make you fall in love with the cheese, giggle like a school girl at the one liners, scream like a chick that runs up stairs, and gasp in shock at every twist. Take time and Enjoy all Bone Cave has to offer.
