  Let me say first, I appreciate most artist's effort to get a film off the ground...but there is so much work involved that often the end result leaves something to be desired...this is NOT THE CASE with Breast Picture. Indie filmmaking at it's best...it's so funny, it's just damn funny. They have taken a really great idea and were able to actually get it done. The acting is across the board well done...even the "bad acting", which is especially hard to do... I highly recommend it. That's really all I need to say. MS

• Very Funny Movie

  Breast Picture is a very funny movie with an excellent cast. Matt Walsh and Joey Kern are both hilarious and Joel Spence was very well cast as the adult film director/Oscar hopeful. Really great cameo by Tim Meadows as well. The story is clever, well produced and quite entertaining, as we follow our protagonist Bud, struggling to get his masterpiece made while disguising it as an X rated film from the producers funding his project. I am a big Matt Walsh fan and yet again he does not disappoint. Though Breast Picture won't blow you away with a long list of big name Hollywood actors, this great little indie film boasts many of the great upcoming talents of the Los Angeles improv community. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for laughs. I highly recommend this film to all.

  Seriously hilarious flick! Great Cast, Great dialog and Great plot! A movie like no other I have ever come across - truly original. A must see for all you indie film lovers and even you mainstream folks! Let's get more films like this one into theaters nationwide. We need more truly original films like this one available for movie going audiences to see. So - spread the word so that more peeps can enjoy truly phenomenal filmmaking. Really clever storyline that sucks you in from line one. The cast will knock you off your feet and have you rolling with laughter in the aisle! Finally if you enjoy witty banter, cry laughs and good overall filmmaking then Breast Picture is a must see!

  my boyfriend ordered this movie on demand probably thinking it was going to be some stupid movie about boobs, but it was actually really funny and we were laughing the whole time. i was surprised that it had a lot of smart jokes and there was even a cute love story. i told my friends to order it on demand and they did and also loved it! i love finding indie films like this. there were a couple dudes i recognized from other funny movies and it was so cool to see them doing a small movie like this one. the beginning started off a little slow, but once it got going, it was so funny. i would recommend this to anyone with a sense of humor. if you don't laugh, there's something wrong with you. for reals.

  So, at least one of the reviews above is by a member of the film's production team. That's how small an operation the film was. Apparently financed by the director; if you look at the credits, the co-writer also did the catering for the 14 days of shooting. That is indie with a capital I... That said, it really is good. Way better than I thought it would be. So everything about the other reviews is accurate. I hope they make their investment back. Seriously, good movie. I guess my only criticism is that it went for laughs early on by making the female characters (the current and former porn stars in the film's plot) very ditzy and ridiculous. It actually didn't need it--as funny as the movie is, you take the characters seriously from the get-go, and the cheap porn/airhead jokes don't measure up to the sophistication of the movie's best moments.
