A postman falls for the pretty co-worker he was recruited to spy on, only to realize that she may be the woman of his dreams in this romantic holiday comedy. When Matt's boss grows suspicious of new hire Kristi, a "Santa Writer" whose job is responding to letters addressed to the North Pole, she recruits him to spy on her and report back with any unusual findings. But the more time Matt spends observing Kristi, the harder he starts to fall for her until he's hopelessly in love. Later, when Kristi uncovers the clandestine plot, she quits her job and disappears without a trace. Meanwhile, Matt searches high and low for her, to no avail. But when Kristi learns that Matt had no choice if he wanted to keep his job, it's only a matter of time before fate brings them back together.

Fun and Sweet.

I REVIEW MOVIES & SPECIALS AS A WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I HAVE SEEN! I HAVE DISCOVERED MANY GEMS IN MY QUEST TO SEE AS MANY " C H R I S T M A S " MOVIES AS I CAN. Now Someone keeps reporting my reviews. I guess they are jealous because I do tell the truth. I want to point out that I never make snide remarks about actors weight or real life sexual orientation. If there acting is terrible or limited "I talk about that". If a story is bad "I will mention that" So why am I being "picked on"? IMDB? When one of my reviews gets deleted IMDB will not even tell me what someone found offensive. Well on to this review. In this movie Santa's daughter is working at a local post office answering letters to Santa. She comes across a letter about a girl who wants her uncle to find love. Unknown to her the man works at the same post office. There is a few more twist and turns but in general this film is very sweet. Ashley Green does a thankless job but wow she was terrific. If you love Christmas movies then watch this one!
This is horrific
The acting is HORRIBLE! It's like they just found people on the street and handed them a piece of paper and said "HERE SAY THIS!". The music is weirdly mixed. The editing is laughably bad. The characters are cliché and make me uncomfortable. It's like the actors look like they're being held at gunpoint. Why does this exist.
frothy light christmas fare
Protagonist has all kinds of choices as far as female companionship, but chooses the ditzy one. Yikes! I would have rejected her right away and yielded to the charms of one of the numerous older predatory women who clearly wanted him and figured he would be easily trained.
Fun, romantic Christmas comedy!
I loved this movie! It belongs on US television! Ashley Scott, who plays Kristi North, was fabulous. If there was a real Santa's daughter, she'd be the one. A.J. Buckley, who played Matt, Kristi's love interest, was likable as the uncle who left his musical career to raise Emily. Piper Mackenzie Harris, who played Emily, had a great smile and was convincing in her belief in Santa. Lochlyn Munro, the evil Postal manager determined to sabotage Kristi was a bit overdone. Yet forgivable and easy to overlook. The supporting cast of Roland Watts, Vanessa Lee Evigan were both funny in conspiring to bring Matt and Kristi together. This was a fun filled, feel good movie - just what we need for the holidays - go watch it!
Light frothy undemanding fun, with a happy ending
Contrary to one reviewer, I did watch this film, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was lovely, pleasant, romantic, fun, with a happy ending. Also I used to work for the post office, so I could identify somewhat with the male lead. I have watched a lot of Christmas films on DVD over Christmas eve and Christmas day. Most begin with a light hearted Christmas song, or tune, and then they continue light heartedly, and as the stories pick up, they get a we bit more serious, and ultimately at the end there is a lesson learned, all tied up in a lovely story wrapped up in a nice Christmas happy ending. What more could you want at Christmas.
