• Not Too Shabby!

  Club Wild Side can probably be classified as one of those movies you can only find on Cinemax and Showtime. You can really never find it in a movie store or rental place. Because usually it's either not there or it is checked out,(which seems to happen a lot!) The movie itself is not terrible, it just seems to be misunderstood as a romantic/drama. And if you are not pleased with that classification, just call it anything you want. I myself enjoyed Club Wild Side. Okay, okay, I admit it! The sexual scenes are a big part of why I like the movie! But that's not all I liked about it. The photography was great, and I think Julie Condliff is quite a good actress, and hopefully she will get involved in more movies. She is very talented in theater as well a stunningly attractive young lady. James Horan is also very good in this, he seems to brighten up the show with his superb acting and mild chemistry between Lora. I liked this movie very much and I encourage you to watch it for not just the sex but also for the acting, plot and photography.

• Not bad for a B-Movie, but it ain't Alfred Hitchcock Presents

  A young girl from nowheres ville Wisconsin loves her boyfriend, but she isn't quite ready to tie the knot. These days it seems that it's the women who want to sew their wild oats. She's not a virgin, but, nevertheless, she's naive an inexperienced, and the people she meets in the big city are all promiscuous. Of course, there was never any need to worry about getting pregnant, since, as we all know, that's not what sex is really for. Sex is really an exploration of character. While just about every decent self-respecting man or woman cheats, which she now observes first hand, some characters are clearly more low-down and despicable than others. Not withstanding, love conquers all, as per usual. As in most B-movies, the babes are slender and athletic. This time, however, they only sport about 1-2 cups of silicone. I found this look to be more natural and appealing than the 1-2 liter jugs that I've seen hanging around in other porn flics. And, what B-movie would be complete without at least one beefy hunk for the ladies to fantasize about? Probably the most remarkable part of this film is that for once the acting was done rather well. Yet, the story still comes off as rather dull. It's supposed to be a drama, which I prefer to silly comedies, but somehow it wasn't very dramatic. I didn't sense any real danger, nor did I really understand the characters' motives. Perhaps a murder mystery would have been better. My recommendation: Watch it if you're bored and you like gratuitous sex.

• Wow...

  Wow.. That is all I can say.. This has got to be the best plot for a soft-core I have ever seen. I was entertained all the way through. In most full length soft-cores, you get tired of porn after awhile. However, I just didn't find myself getting tired of Laura Palmer. The babe is just too gorgeous. They need more soft cores with better plots. Thumbs up! (Wow.. I just gave a very enthusiastic review for a porno... Maybe I need to go back to watching the Sundance channel for awhile. Hmm...)

• Good movie

  I liked the movie Club Wild Side personally. OK, it's erotica and it's light. I just want to be entertained for an hour. I don't always have to watch gritty things.

• Another Sleazoid Soft-Porn Direct-to-Video Flick...

  ...but memorable because it includes an actor I actually recognize! James Horan is, by these types of movies' standards, Lawrence Olivier. He's given some decent performances on stuff like Highlander and various Star Treks, so it's kind of amusing, if mildly depressing, watching him degrade himself here. Okay, yeah, there's a plot. Horan's character and his wife are fighting, he's having an affair with a movie reviewer while trying to do his "masterpiece" film, and their guest decides to enjoy the wonders of stripping. But watching Horan is really the only enjoyment to be found here.
