Become an actor, but only do it there at the event
"Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride... Starring You!" is a 15-minute event at Universal Studios Floria I think that is really more of a stage show than a film or movie etc. However, it exists here on IMDb as there are movie parts in it that add to the experience and you will actually see some big names too like Oscar winner Christopher Walken for example. And these scenes were made exclusively for this event and were not somehow simply extracted from other movies. It premiered back in 2008, so it will have its 10th anniversary soon. Or I should say "would" as this tour was apparently discontinued back in 2015. So if you are among the lucky ones who saw it live, then good for you. The people I saw on the video seem to be having an amazing time. But as a viewer of this show without being really there, it is not half as effective and the video sequences are probably not half as good. The instructor made a solid job overall in my opinion, sometimes maybe went a bit over-the-top in her enthusiasm and the Amy Winehouse reference was a bit cringeworthy, but other than that she was fine and getting the masses to enjoy the experience. All in all, certainly worth checking out on location if they ever bring this one back, but really only there. On a screen, it is not worth seeing, even if you love any of the actors in here.
