Claudio Dragonetti is an Italian assassin, one of the best in the industry. He is hired by a local mafia boss in Gothenburg, Ivan. He needs Dragonettis services to get rid of the two competitors. The job is nothing special really. This is something that Claudio Dragonetti done many times before. But this time something goes wrong and he accidentally kills the wrong people. This is appreciated neither by the Mafia or the Swedish authorities and Dragonetti soon finds that he is driven from two directions. But Claudio Dragonetti has a trump card which none of his enemies know. He has signed a pact with Satan, a pact that makes him almost invulnerable, all he had to leave in return was his own immortal soul.

This movie might be cheesy but lucky for me, cheese doodles is my favorite snack
I think its safe to say that Sweden just got its first grind-house movie, cheesy plot, cheesy characters and some really awesome cheesy one-liners. I cant say the production value is great but its a big improvement of its sequel (i guess you can call it that since this is a prequel) "Die zombiejäger". my only other complains is that since i live near the locations the movie where shot, so i can see when it changes from the 2 cities it where shot, but i hope not only locals will see the movie. But i had great time watching the movie and i look forward to see more from Jonas Wolcher (the Director).

Dragonetti is an Italian contract killer and friend of Ivan who needs his stealing partner killed. While in Germany, Dragonetti gets shot while robbing a video store and makes it into a stranger's flat. In the bathroom he bleeds on the box from "Root of Darkness" and becomes possessed which will help you understand Die Zombiejager...which is plugged in this film. Aldo Cunei is more like Steve Carell than Steven Seagal in his looks. He doesn't fit the part. He can feel pain, but doesn't die, even when blown up.The whole thing was idiotic...with subtitles, but much was in English. Guide: F-word, brief "tada" nudity.
