• good little movie, low budget piece of an illegal worker story

  Basically, its a story about illegal immigrants and their interactions with an upper class of California family, with a bit of an LA gang story throw into the mix. To sum it all up, a young Mexican kid who is drawn into the gang lifestyle has a change of heart and decides to become a laborer along with other illegal immigrant Mexican workers and the gang lifestyle haunts him, he eventually become a sort of supervisor, him and the handful of illegals he regularly works with end up getting steady work at a particular household in a rich part of town, simple enough but it all ends up turning bad due to misunderstandings and bad decision making on one of the illegal immigrants part and other reasons. This wasn't a blockbuster, wasn't 200,000,000 budget, but it was a good little flick, had a lot of heart, and realism, I would definitely suggest you check it out, you might enjoy it.

• Good story of a young man trying to better himself but finding his past and present getting in the way

  Really good low budget urban drama about a young Sidewayz who ends up in a gang for protection, but then begins to find himself as a day laborer. Complications arise when his old way of life, the bad neighborhood and misunderstanding with his boss all come together making his climb out all the more difficult. Well acted and well plotted film is one of the films that make wading through the low budget racks worth while. Made with care we actually care about the characters who are more than just pawns to be moved about. The places seem real and the peoples reactions seem right, even if a couple of times things seem to move in order to drive the plot. Better than you think it should be this is a film thats actually worth seeing since, with luck its cast and crew will be seen again.
