• Two different techniques together, free camera and normal one, and striking horror scenes

  Today, i have watched this movie. Scenes are so aggressive and voices are so scary. This movie is the one of Turkish-Islamic Horror-Thriller movies directed by Hasan Karacadağ. It is about Genies (Christians call them as Demons)Especially at first 40 minutes, 7 people watching the movie had gone out of Theatre. The story goes on in Sile where is on the black sea coast in Istanbul, wrecks houses, buildings... This movie shows Turkish Horror Movies takes good steps in World Cinema and attention increases against these movies. Actors and actresses are a little bid amateurs. But El-Cin explains what it wants to explain. Don't watch alone!!!

• Excellent material wasted at the hands of a otherwise talented director...

  I should first thank the director or writer by choosing a group of ONLY(!?) five people troubled with a "cin"! Otherwise we would have to watch, say, ten or more times the same kinds of hallucinations for each of those ten people! Another point that i am thankful to him is that he saves me from burden of being tense and make "myself" terrified...Well, given that i am dumb and have no subconscious and am unable to create images in my mind by myself and build tension for a few seconds by myself, he had to constantly pump up explicitly with those computerized scenes he composed.... Thank you!!!! To me, half of the success of an horror comes from a successfully created perception of presence where the story takes place in... Even the best candidate places for it were wasted by the director in this movie. A modest suggestion to him: If he really wants his movies to be scary and more effective, he should turn the sound completely off! Very rudimentary (crude, primitive, rookie) way of using sound effects to create terror... In summary, there is no art nor art-crafting at all in this movie. It would be a total waste of your money. As usual in his movies, casting is terrible as well. Players may not be pro, that is acceptable. But one needs a little bit effort in the script right!? I strictly advice you to save your money by not supporting rubbish...

  The movie was well designed and thought in many aspects, however the thrilling and the effects may have been better.In my opinion they need a better CG team. The key thoughts made this movie in a sense of being unique is emerging from a vast research done in the area of Jins (a sort of demon mystically bound the religious facts). I assume during the research, they tried to come out with a story which combines the boogie man stories from Anatolia with some of old knowledge which is currently almost diminished and practised by so few people. None the less, it is one of the good unique movies which makes you taste the fear in a whole new complete level.
