Great movie with lovely music performances
Saw this movie at the Kansas International Film Festival yesterday and Nenad and Victor were there for Q&A. Nenad's music is entertaining but has a message and he introduces us to traditional a Cappella Croatian music, which most of us would never have a chance to hear. Nenad brings a group of local a Cappella singers to the United States for a concert tour. We meet Nenad's son as a very young boy who is doing his best to get his father's music on a radio station. We see him again as a young adult. There are interviews with musicians and producers Nenad worked with over the years and they all have great respect for Nenad and his talent. Loved this movie and admire Nenad for his peace activism.
Fantastically inspiring documentary
I first saw "Everything is Forever" while screening for the 2014 Julien Dubuque International Film Festival. The film made me cry and laugh. It covers so many subjects - peace, war, friendship, country, loyalty, physical challenges, love, music, rock and roll, and Nenad Bach has the most beautiful friendly face that appeals to everyone who meets him. When I met him at the Festival (he was here for the screening at the Festival with one of the producers, Victor Zimet), I told him how much the film meant to me and we became friends. I would recommend this film to anyone who is interested in examining the life of a modern Renaissance man whose intelligence and spirit light up the screen. Don't miss it.
