35-year-old Kentaro is a social misfit and has never dated a woman in his life. He lives with his parents and holds a modest job in city hall. Kentaro doesn't have any friends, nor received a promotion in 13 years at his place of work. His parents worry about Kentaro being single for the rest of his life. They then go to a parental matchmaking event, hoping to find a woman to introduce to their son. During the meeting, Kentaro's parents has only one other couple approach. The father is Akita Imai and his wife. They exchange profiles of their children. Kentaro's parents are impressed with the Imai's beautiful daughter Naoko. Meanwhile, Akita Imai is the president of a successful company and, after reading Kentaro's bio, believes he is beneath their daughter. The Imais leave, only saying thank you. They also don't reveal to Kentaro's parents that Naoko is blind. Kentaro and Naoko will soon experience love for the first time, but will it be fleeting?

Touching Love Story
A touching love story about an introverted "otaku" character who has been in the same job for thirteen years and whose only interests are his pet frog and video games. Although painfully shy he hands his umbrella to a girl in the rain only to meet her again when his parents attend a matchmaking event at which he learns that she is blind. Their relationship unfolds but faces significant opposition from the blind girl's father who considers the hero unworthy of his daughter. The plots follows the couples attempts to be together despite the odds. Occasionally slow, the film is a lovely study of its two main characters and the parents who try to ensure the best for them.

This is the movie about a man who is serious too much. He thinks he will and does not want to marry with someone. He is the only son of his parents. His family is a good birth so his parents want to marry him. One day, he meets a woman who is blind. Therefore they are attracted to each other. However he is disliked from her father because of his Wishy-washy personality. Her father thinks he will not be able to support her. When I see this movie, I think that any parents think their any children are so cute and so important for them. It is so funny too much serious character is. I have one brother. I watch this movie the hero is like my brother. I worry about my brother, can he marry with someone? Worry about it and watch this movie is so funny. I recommend you this movie. If you watch this movie, you will learn what is beautiful love.
Interesting
This is one of those movies that's not one of the best but interesting enough. The movie has a somewhat original premise: two people meet (introduced through the parents); the guy a loner and the girl is blind. Her being blind is a big enough part of the movie and the center of an interesting scene in a restaurant. Characters' personalities are shown but aren't dealt with in depth, which fits this movie. The female co-worker's role was a bit unnecessary but not distracting. This isn't a date movie but interesting to watch with your girlfriend none the less. The open ending is nice and unique. Do I recommend it? Yes, if you keep in mind it's a 7/10 movie.
