Worst Vinnie flick since the last one
In a derivative story of suburban violence| family man Ray Brookes(AKA The voice of Mr. Ben) seeks revenge when his wife and children are murdered by infamous gangsters (Brian Kant and Floella Benjamin). Unable to place his order for chips with curry sauce he is left with no faith in the justice system and with nothing left to lose except 74 minutes of low quality 'entertainment' he turns vigilante, crazy ape bonkers, bat-sh*t but not the other cheek and stalks the streets like some kind of cockney leopard on the hunt for those who robbed him of a future as a football pundit. Watch this movie or have your colon cleansed, the choice is yours.
Not even worth wasting 5 minuets of your time. ...
Watched this at a friends house and it was cardboard acting at its worse. Should be called "Vinnie Jones Killed This Movie" Not even worth reviewing due to the fact the movie lacked any substance and weak acting abilities to keep me focused. The story was the same old done over time and time again in many other films and Jones with his typical hard man act that has been done to death.. The small amount of cast speaks volumes and that this was done on a tight budget so therefore justified going straight to DVD.. I found myself drifting off in the first 30 minuets from the start but managed to suffer it until the end. Unless you are a fan of Vinnie Jones films then i would spend your money on a far better movie than Kill Kane. Verdict: Do not bother watching.
Poor Vinne what have you got yourself into?
I could sum up this story in a few short sentences. Guy witnesses a gang member being shot so gang go after him and kill his wife and kids and he goes after them one by one until he gets to the big boss. The End. So many plot holes in this its unreal. How did he just happen to get the names and locations of everyone involved and turn up at their front door, car and club and just kill them? Was it intentional to make the big boss out to be a derivative of a cross between Tony Blair and David Cameron? Seriously I should've checked the IMDb reviews before subjecting myself to this drivel but was looking more for a solid story with Vinnie at the head of it all with some originality. Gone are the days of Lock Stock and Midnight Meat Train. Welcome to the world of spend a budget because its there and to hell with the result.
Don't Bother... Seriously
This is a seriously bad film... I really don'y know where to begin whether its the entire premise, the gaping holes in the story, the script, the acting, the effects... well, the everything. I don't often review but after losing my investment of some 74 minutes in this woeful film I felt the need to warn others. But first let let me lay down my credentials... I don't act, direct, produce or have any other pre-release involvement in the film industry but I do watch, and this.... is simply not worth watching. I normally enjoy Vinnie Jones in his stereotypical role of ultra violent vigilante or similar and it was his name that attracted me to the film... but this was hard to stomach. The acting was awful from start to finish and the story wafer thin and generic. Anyone who gives this more than a 2 has a financial interest in the film. There are better things to do with your 74 minutes.
Poor Old Vinnie
I actually like Vinnie. He has done a couple of really good acting jobs. His Brit flicks and I enjoyed him in Midnight Meat Train. Fair enough he never spoke but he was good. He is not as bad as people make out but sadly just gets trash like this nowadays to show what he can do. A film so bad nobody could even be bothered to write a fake review. I seem to recall this was done once before and rather well at that. Sadly Vinnie is no Bronson and sadly this has no script either. Daft as I may sound I think Vinnie could do well if given a decent role in a film that had a decent story and some decent actors in it. He will never trouble Broadway but deserves better than the garbage he is given. One day he might well surprise everybody. Sadly this is not his breakthrough role. So bad we may have to invent a whole new language to articulate our thoughts about such rubbish.
