Bland, Confusing and Flawed
It's really hard to criticize a movie when there's no plot present, nor character ark. I've stumbled upon this "movie" from a Facebook group and knew this movie might be something exciting, I was wrong. My expectations were something more of a low budget and fun movie from the SyFy channel. Story: Well there isn't any solid plot element in this movie, besides the boy taking girl to party in a low Rider is the basic idea that could've been expanding upon on. I advise researching on how to write a proper screen play. Cinematography: Nothing really special here, just amateur work. Need to practice on your cinematography and rule of third placement. Sound Mixing/ SFX: There wasn't really anything here, it's all Raw and unedited. That one scene at the bar needed to be recorded with character lines only and insert music in post-production to avoid that awkward overlap of sounds. FX: It's self explanatory. If something doesn't look good, then it doesn't look good. Try to sell the effects more realistic if possible. Characters: The characters are boring and uninteresting. Make us appeal to a character rather than just slapping random lines to an actor. Character arcs are very important as well. We want to know why a character is doing what they do and their impact on the story.
Sooooo bad.
First of all, there is nothing more annoying than people who can't have a conversation in one language. It's a sign of low intelligence and even more annoying when the people aren't even saying anything interesting. But that's probably the best thing about the movie. At only 56 minutes long, at least half of the movie is just people driving while terrible music plays. Later there's just lots of annoying background music. To make it as bad as possible they made it almost impossible to hear the people talking. Just when you turn it up, the horrible music kicks in at full blast. And of course there's no plot and the acting is atrocious. This movie made me hate everyone involved in its making.
