At 37 years old, time is not on his side. Sergio 'Marvelous' Martinez can drop the best boxers with his lightning strikes, floor the most beautiful women with his devastating looks, and has a hard-scrabble immigrant story and work ethic that make him the hero of the Latin street. But a willingness to call it the way he sees it and speak truth to power, has left him a virtual pariah in the notorious corrupt world of professional boxing. This is story of a man fighting to fight. But the clock is ticking. It may already be too late.

Maravilla, la película (2014) Reviews
A passion that was hidden from me as child and the man that mad me love the sport again. and performing the arguably first or second greatest KO of all time.
Being from Argentina with everything against him at 35 years being in his prime same time as he was going to decline how he survived corruption while badly injured and reclaiming the title is amazing by far the most entertaining fighter of my time. Hands down always to be entertaining even when hurt he would never hold. And the top man at WBC stripped him of the title. And then not letting him fight for it until he was old and injured in every way possible, he overcome it and got it back and still kept winning with that many injuries with none of his best aspects left. Probably the best insight into corruption in boxing. This man at 35 would of beat every fighter from welterweight to light heavyweight, yet heavily avoided. I am english something he would suprised to see. A real inspiration such a shame he started at 20
A great documentary that keeps one involved in the battle
A very moving and engaging documentary. I am not somebody who is interested in boxing and never heard about anyone in this this movie. Still I ended up watching this movie with a lot of interest. It is build up very well. We learn how Sergio Martinez got into the sports, what obstacles he faced, the political side of the sports that took away his victories and how he was getting it back. We also see how the sports had an effect on his body and also how he is limited to get what he wants by his age. After we go through the build up the ending of the battle makes one very excited and rooting for him. We learn also about his fighting technique and it is great to watch it on the screen. Definitely recommend it to people who enjoy a good documentary. Even if you are not a boxing fan you will enjoy it. I can just imagine how great it is to watch for the actual fans.
