Peace to Us in Our Dreams 2015 Directed & Written by Sharunas Bartas Sharunas Bartas is great director, i saw few of his movie. Eastern Drift 2010 probably left biggest impression. So Peace to Us in Out Dreams was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival One Summer day a man, his lover and their daughter drives to a country side for a weekend. He have a difficult relationship with his lover. For their sixteen year old daughter is hard to accept this crisis in the family, she feels lonely and alienated. lives mostly in hes fantasy and dream world. She have a friend in the country, that one days steels a rifle from the hunters and then the drama begins. The daughter in the movie is actually real life daughter of Sharunas Bartas. Its probably most personal directors work. I found this movie a bit outstretched. This drama is very peaceful and philosophical.
