  The movie is not that bad how this guy above me try to present it. It's obvious that he have no idea how the life after the war (even today) looked in Bosnia/Croatia. New York is far away. Some scenes are really fantastic, and by the way, realistic, maybe not in NY, but in Bosnia they are. I believe that a lot of people know such guys from the movie "in real". The main character is also fantastic, sometimes it's really scary how good he act a PTSP-sick person (unfortunately, i know how it is). Sure, the movie will not win great prices, but it's good enough to bring you to think about the post-war situation in Croatia/Bosnia. Cheers.

  I saw this film on Croatian Film Festival in NY. What a piece of crap. Looks like it's something serious. It's plain fake. I saw much of the European and Asain cinema in last few years and this looks like a film made by someone who saw it, saw the surface in it and than tried to copy it for the sake of style. The style of minimum dialog, a blank face and silence. The music comes off when there's nothing going on. The actors were good, but who gives a damn. There's nothing real in this picture. Just plain fake emotions. Calculated in all the aspects of film-making. My father is Croat so I can understand much of the original dialog in this film, but... Even my father says it has nothing to do with anything. I'm so tired by all this films, and there are literally thousands of them - just following the trend of what ever sales nowadays. Croatian film is not so popular, but this is the far worst film I saw last year.
