• 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back

  I have no clue how this movie has gotten such a high rating from other reviewers. This movie is HORRIBLE. From the very beginning of the opening credits, I could tell that this was going to be a low budget movie, which I don't have a problem with. There's actually a lot of good low budget horror movies, but this Isn't one of them. Then the movie starts with four people stuck in a train station. And the acting is absolutely TERRIBLE, way sub level, even for a low budget movie. Its almost as if all the actors involved forgot their lines as soon as the camera started rolling and were reading directly off of cue cards held for the off camera. What's even worse is that before any of the stories in this anthology starts, we're subjected to fifteen minutes of these horrible actors just sitting around and bitching. Most low budget horror movies make up.for what they lack in the actors abilities with cheap scares and good gore. Unfortunately, this movie has neither of those either. Watching this was 90 minutes of my life that I'm never going to get back. I'm just glad I found this on amazon video for free instead of actually wasting money on it. Avoid at all costs.

  Four people are at a train station awaiting a train that has been delayed due to an accident. They tell stories about a realistic nightmare that they had where they died. The film in an anthology of four "horror" tales. The main horror was the acting, writing, and directing. The stories were far from scary. It appears they all get killed with the same retractable knife.I don't understand the rave reviews, or even the mediocre ones. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity

• Micro budget horror anthology

  SCARY TALES: LAST STOP is an attempt to make a horror anthology on a micro budget. Needless to say it's doomed from the start. This one contains no less than four stories with mixed themes, all brought together by the fact that they're simply uninteresting. The first story is an example of online dating gone bad; later, the viewer suffers through Bigfoot hunts, cults, and the usual masked slashers. All of the mini-tales are vapid and unbelievable, with poor acting and laughable narrative construction.

  While watching this film it to me felt like a great combination of the Langoliers and The Cabin in the Woods but on a more personal level drawing the audience into the world and characters and the stories they all bring with them. Rather than following one specific threat that is attacking the group of protagonists we are faced with different villains from serial killers to cults to Bigfoot. The cast did a good job taking the script written by Geno McGahee and translated them very well. The film had a dark grit to it that paid a wonderful homage to 80's horror movies and has a great balance of suspense, horror, and some comedic moments making this film an entertaining watch.
