It's a story about a troubled young woman name Carrie who is need to go back to her storage unit to obtain the rest of her "life" belongings. This is a story that revolves around the theme of resiliency and hope and how even a broken past can be overcome with strength and time. Carry- Carrie is the name of the character. The film is titled 'Storage', implying that the painful memories she endured had become baggage- baggage she 'carrie-d' her whole life. She was born into unfortunate circumstances with an abusive father that later led her to tolerating an abusive romantic relationship. Carrie took her painful experiences as a child and through her teens, but will she still be able to transcend and let go of all the 'storage' she carried with her all her life?

A young girl frees herself from an abusive relationship
STORAGE dealt with a 'ripped from the headline' issue, and had some well thought out visual images, the bridge, in particular. The opening is a 'mislead'-- that Carrie is planning to jump off the bridge. The scene creates a future. Then in flashbacks we get the 'reveal' when we discover that Carrie is trapped in an abusive relationship. She's drowning throughout the film even though she wears a life jacket. We see images of her being held under water by her father in the pool, and by her boyfriend in her bathtub. The theme of water is strong throughout. In the end Carrie accepts that all her worldly possessions have been stolen from her, but on the bridge, in the rain, we realize she has gained her freedom.
Best movie ever
Props to you Darian Brown! This seems the best movie ever. I have read the the review and the summery of the movie. This movie seems really interesting. Now I just need to go find somewhere where I can buy the movie and watch it. :)
