Have you ever met someone who made your body heat up, get a little nervous and sweaty, and made your crotch stir a bit? Sexual Tension: Volatile will reignite those lustful feelings as it weaves six scintillating experiences of men in various stages of nudity and many forms of erotic male bonding. A pulsating, sexually-charged thrill ride, the film begins as a young man feels the adrenaline rush of his sexy tattooist's needle in "Ari" while in "The Cousin," a geeky, cute boy finds a hot Summer afternoon triggering his taboo desire for his Speedo-clad cousin. Two straight buddies literally show each other how to make love to a woman in "The Other One," while a man with 'Broken Arms' receives a sensual sponge bath from a male nurse. "Love" is questionable when a broken shower brings a married man and a hairy, innkeeper together when they least expect it and in "Workout" two muscular men, 'sexting' pictures to some hot chicks, begin to shed their clothes and inhibitions. • A Hot Teasing

    Silitonga2013-11-10

When I found this movie, I don't know it was compilation at first. I was disappointing but after watched it segment to segment it turns good, even great. I can't decided what is my best segment. Every segment perfectly great. great writing, great directing, and one of the most important great acting. I don't know if all of the actors are gay or straight but I think it doesn't matter because they played it very well and convincing. I called it hot teasing because it's highly erotic approaching. They story run well and innovative in every segment. The best part of it, every main story per segment almost we can find in every day life. I like this approaching, make us feel close to what directors and actors want us to know. It could happen anytime and anywhere beyond our consciousness.

  • Too close for comfort? Six shorts, two directors, 12 men in close quarters

All six of these short films show what happens when two men, presumably straight but not necessarily, get close up, then closer, in intimate situations. Sexual tension. A volatile atmosphere. One gets a tattoo, another bunks with a cousin of his friend, one meets, yes, a handyman. Very talented young directors, Marcelo Monaco and Marco Berger take the interactions just a bit further than perhaps any of the men expect or want. Some of these are witty and fun. Others more serious. All quite tense for the viewer. I think that the best part is the way they play with the viewer's mind and expectations. Good homoerotica is not necessarily all bells and whistles, if you get my drift. Berger is the writer and director of Plan B, a very successful feature that has many of the same qualities. Two men meet and find a more intense connection than they expected. Both film makers are masters of the pregnant pause, the unspoken word, the subtle non-verbal signal, the awkward silence. Both directors are great photographers and compose their slow dances of intimacy in a very beautiful and satisfying way. For those looking for explicit sex, go elsewhere. For those who like the unconscious seduction, the slow revelation of feelings and, eventually, some nice outcomes, be patient. Enjoy the process. Each of these shorts will be pleasing and satisfying in their own way. Some more than others but all are worth watching all the way through. Maybe twice over.

  • Movie Lived up to its name

    floormankbh2013-11-21

This was thoroughly enjoyable and I found its full of sexual suspense without allowing to much graphical sex etc. This is something I have experienced many times in my own life with friends where a simple gesture, movement locking of eyes, looking at each other in the locker rooms or even close bodily contact like hugging and sharing a bath together and the sharing of beds when sleeping over, sets off a remarkable "electric sensation". Its not about being gay its about the feelings men sometime have for each other unintentionally and they cannot put a name to it. In this movie I experienced that again. I have to say Marco Berger really does a fabulous job. This was a deja vu for me. I would love him to do the same again allowing a bit more sexual interaction in full view but with the same innocence as in this movie. I would really look forward to that

  • Sexual Tension: Volatile "the Art of Teasing men until their balls turn blue or fall off" LOL.

    SBlues2013-04-29

I give this series of short Homoerotic films 4 stars for the cute "eye candy" and for the half-hearted attempts at writing & directing. This series of short films is like all of Marco Berger's other film work, purposely set up to TEASE and FRUSTRATE the single gay viewers. Yes, there is a 2nd Director Credited as well but I'm focusing on what appears to be a continuation of the type of films Marco Berger is fixated on. Marco Berger directs films (short and feature length) with similar scenarios where most of his Latino male lead characters are emotionally retarded. (See also his short film: The Watch)They meet and begin this endless teasing ritual. The characters are usually very tense, on the verge of being sexually frustrated, some are oddly speechless; either paralyzed with fear or too shy to move beyond just flirting with their soft or semi-hard penises and those awkward silent moments between each set of characters in every short film, is overkill. Marco Berger also appears to have a fascination with young Latino men wearing only tight underwear which usually displays their soft or semi-erect penises either lying down or standing. Some of the characters are clearly seen squeezing their slight erections in front of the other characters, yet both characters play these teasing games with one another in such an unrealistic way. Who does that? No real horny gay man is going to go through all that trouble seducing the man, then pretends he's not interested or he suddenly becomes clueless once he realizes that the other guy is willing to have sex as well. One final note about what I hate in artistic gay filmmakers these days is how some of them can shoot many of their sexual scenes well but the editing of those scenes always end on a incomplete manner. It's obvious they spend many hours shooting those scenes, getting enough footage but for some reason; they feel they have to heavily censor these scenes more than any other scene. In the case of Marco Berger's films, he slowly builds up tension and anticipation within you, the viewer then he cuts to another scene. His films would be even more fulfilling and complete if he didn't feel sadistically inclined to always edit out the climactic scenes. Otherwise you are left to fill in the incomplete scenes yourself every time you watch his movies.

  • Tension, Yes, but Also Frustration

    pauleky2019-02-05

The short films in this collection certainly provide a lot of sexual tension. The guys are hot and most of them acquit themselves well as actors. However, with vignette after vignette providing no obvious consummation, it became increasingly frustrating and less fun. See it for the guys, but be prepared to see desire - yours and theirs - unfulfilled
