The Breakup Girl (2015) Reviews
Average comedy/Drama/emotions movie fits for family night but i don't recommend it for movie geeks like me who expect much more ;)
Well the story is nice the plot is mediocre, the title gives you and idea that the story is gonna be about the Breakup Girl ,, but it is about all the girls dealing with their dad's sudden health issue .. The script got some tight knots in the drama side ,, an okay comedy presented in a handful of scenes ... it is a fine new and emotional (in the final couple of scenes) story but it's the type of comedy that sticks in your mind to be remembered. As for the cast,, the girl form "raising hope" Shannon Woodward she's cool i kinda maybe expected a whole different character based on my previous knowledge on her last performance there but she rolled on fine with it here.. same goes for Joe Lo Truglio and Ray Wise i don't know !! maybe i wanted to see them do real or let me call it somehow memorable comedy :P so overall,, the movie is okay if you're bored and you wanna see some okay average comedy/Drama/emotions movie with your family but i don't recommend it for movie geeks like me... and again it doesn't mean the movie is bad because it is not .. it is not the level of comedy and drama you'v seen on the trailer.
