• A Light-hearted, fun comedy.

  This is a nice, light-hearted fun comedy with a good message. Josh Henderson and Jenna Dewan have great chemistry as leading roles in this romantic comedy and both are wonderful actors. Tom Arnold is hysterical and keeps things hoping with never a dull moment. The casting was really good and I really enjoyed Jesse Heiman as the funny chubby kid that thought he really fit in but just never really did. This movie has a fun plot and I found myself laughing through most of the movie. Most High School and college students will really relate to the plot. The high school setting was perfect. I very much liked the ending of the film. A bit like a fairytale.

  I saw the screening and not only high school students will relate to this movie but everyone will. Its a funny heart warming film that will make everyone laugh. Tom will have everyone rolling. Jesse also has some very funny parts. The way he acts to get a date is just ridiculous but will keep you laughing. We all know someone that fits his character in real life, the kid that never really got it. Jenna and Josh both were amazing actors and will suck anyone into the story. I loved the strong ties to music it just made everything that much better. I think the soundtrack will be an amazing album and look forward to hearing it. I cant wait to see the final version.

• Not brilliant but worth a watch

  For some reason it has the feel of a first-time film maker got lucky. Add to this the plugging of Josh Henderson's debut album and it almost becomes the sort of film where a talented student with a camera just wants to show off. It's strange to compare a film with such known actors to the unknowns of the first high school musical, but you could easily imagine the lead characters as Troy and Gabriella. Getting past the amateur feel the film is likable if not very memorable. The spin of "boy meets girl, boy hates girl" has scope for originality but by halfway through this is just another regular chick flick. This in itself is not a bad thing and Henderson and Dewan play a convincing and believable performance. It's certainly worth watching but don't expect to be blown away.

• Loved it!

  I saw a screening of this film and absolutely loved it. Tom Arnold was phenomenal and had my favorite scene of the movie in the confessional. I look forward to being reeled in by the love story again. It draws you in and pays off in the end. How can you not fall head over heals for the lovely Jenna Dewan? The music was fabulous and gives you some great love songs along with up beat music that is right in line with the comedic aspect of the film. Josh Henderson is the perfect fit for his character and will have every girl from fourteen to forty wishing they were "Molly". It seems that everyone would know someone that fits the profile of each character and we can all relate to the story line.

• The worst high school movie i've ever seen.

  This film has zero charm or wit (even for a teenage film). The director seems to lack a basic understanding of film conventions, character development and comic timing. The characters are bland and one dimensional. This film is clearly aimed at the teenage market, but the lack of charm, lame and unbelievable characters and formulaic plot will fail to entertain anyone. Spare yourself and avoid this movie. There are plenty of teenage films that are much more fun.
