Based on True Events. The Dalton family moves to the mining town of Rupland, where baseball is that of a religion. The family's three sons: Jack, Johnny and Joe, become intertwined with the game and the town's issues that tear them apart. A true ballplayer, a rebel and a storyteller, the brothers battle through Rupland's hardships of death, decline and war.
