What happens when Spud sets out to make his first movie, fresh out of jail with no money, no plan and no clue. Well first he would have to find a good DP, create all of the characters beginning with himself and his supporting cast and crew. This is the story of a guy with none of that. Javonn Thompson a strip club photographer attempts to throw his first party, and it turns out to be the biggest party in "Birthday Bash" history. The only problem is that he gets kicked out of his own party. He wakes up the next day and realizes that none has anything positive to say about him except his best friend Kareem Anderson. After giving his all to complete this movie he continues to run into obstacle after obstacle to complete his movie. After firing his first DP with hopes of actually completing his first production he meets a famous Hollywood director who is undercover as a homeless man to get into character and discovers that it would cost him $160k.
