Unbelievably awful, terrible acting
I hope no one made any money from this schlock. Wooden acting and dialog. TOTALLY predictable and hysterical BS from main actress. Terrible waste of time. YUCK. Intellectually demeaning. Whoever put this out, why would they think this is any kind of a quality movie????
Would Not Expect It......
Actually, I liked it, because it's a very different piece. We are not used to seeing movies of this kind on the big screen, and this one has a touch of intrigue and drama along with an artistic flair. Essentially, it's a courtroom drama; a who done it. What leads up to it is a crime that was allegedly committed by the deceased wife. My discovery is that it's an intellectual movie that you have to pay close attention to for the clues. Close caption really helped me keep up because the twists in the movie will ultimately surprise you in the end. The acting was great, in my opinion. I recommend watching it.
Nice Try, but...
Movie production is a highly complex, expensive business that requires a huge professional team in order to have a chance at the box office. However, with the rapid digital technology today anyone with even a point-and-shoot camera and a few friends to photograph can put together what could be called a movie. Yes, this one was shot with three DSLR cameras in high definition but when used in automatic mode require little more knowledge than it takes to operate a box camera. We were encouraged to see the movie after reading the excellent description and four glowing reviews. I wish mine could be as encouraging. I commend the cast and crew for trying. I'm sorry that is the only compliment I can come up with. I'm quite sure "Walk Through the Valley" is the worst movie I have ever seem. The actors were amateurish, the sets drab, sound and photography crude and the story line incomprehensible. It makes me wonder how it ever got on Amazon Prime. Reviews, to be useful, must be honest. And perhaps the four previous reviewers actually liked it. And yes, I was foolish for not searching for more user reviews and at least a single professional review. I'll be more more diligent in the future.
