The opening is with the car pulling up to the old estate home. It's not dark and dingy, but the house is its own Character. Aimee and Matteson, are seen as typical mother and daughter starting a new life in a familiar but uncomfortable setting. Matteson has never met her Aunt Viv because Viv hasn't left the house or town because of her condition. She is surprised to find her with such a vibrant personality. Although Aimee doesn't see her that way, she has heard over years that Aunt Viv and Aimees Grandmother were rivals of sorts, over a man - Aimees Grandmother.
